575 LakePoint reviews its biggest growth year yet and offers National level teams in 2022-2023 season.
In 2021-2022 season as many of you know we went from 12 teams to 22 teams. With this growth came the expectation of providing the best product at every level.
We provided a Local level for athletes to compete in mostly local one day tournaments and sharpen their skills typically against other larger clubs local teams, mid size clubs regional teams or smaller clubs top teams . I’m proud to say the success of this group was proven as most games were close and tight fought matches with ours and other clubs regional teams and several wins over other clubs teams including two tournament wins. We are also proud to say many of these athletes have gone on to make school programs this season.
We also provided a Regional level for athletes to compete in mostly in club level two day tournaments. The club level will typically have stronger teams. Mid to smaller clubs top/national and regional level teams and large clubs regional teams. We also added travel to this level competing with the likes of big clubs like K2, Bama Elite, NASA and Capital City Juniors. The success of this group is measured by the number of tournament wins from only a few the season before to over a dozen. This includes such memorable wins as 12 Jeff beating the A5 bid team twice to take the gold at Rally Rumble. 13 Tiffany going on a multi tournament win streak mid to late season. 14 Karlee playing up in a 16 local division and not losing a set. 15 Kevin travels to the Beach Blast and wins. The win of all wins was 14 Karlee bringing home the gold in the SRVA regionals club division.
575 LP accomplishments in 2022: Becoming the third largest club location in Georgia with 22 teams. 12s finishing top ten in AES Regional Rankings. 13s finishing as the top 575 team in AES National rankings. 14s finishing above all 575 national teams in the AES National rankings. 15s finishing as the top 575 team in AES National rankings.
575 Accomplishments in 2022: Becoming the third largest club in Ga with 59 teams. Third in the southeast region in number of teams earning a bid to USAV Nationals. 2nd highest Georgia club team finish at USAV Nationals.
It is with great pride that 575 LakePoint takes the next step in growth by offering National level teams at most age groups this upcoming season. Let's start with some facts about a national level team. National level teams are focused, scheduled and guided to win a bid to the USAV nationals. They will attend higher level qualifying events that will require more dedication by the athletes and family. Like most of our other offerings we know travel is expensive so our plans are to minimize travel while maximizing qualifying opportunities.

575 Volleyball Family,
We want to express how thankful we are as 575 volleyball to each and everyone one of you for making this club season another huge success. Our club has grown to 60 teams not including a boys program that is growing as well as a beach program. It takes a tremendous amount of energy and time from players, parents and the organization for the girls and boys to play volleyball. Thank you again sincerely.
The club won a ton of matches and tournaments throughout the year from all 3 of our locations at every level with 5 National teams qualifying this year for Girls Junior National Championships! We had one last year and hope to have even more next year and can't wait to see how they do in Indianapolis next month.
We have already had multiple planning meetings as directors to make changes that will improve the experience for all next year. Some insight into next year is a National 2 schedule which will be a modified National schedule between our current National and Regional schedule. We are also redesigning our pre-season training and looking to host a mandatory camp included in your dues for our players to get up to speed quicker on our 575 training system of volleyball led by our Master Level coaches for all players. We want to make 575 the best club for every player and family.

We have summer beach offerings at Lakepoint, Bogan Park, and MVP! Choose between doing both days or come 1 day per week. If you choose the 1 day option you get to pick which day you come to best fit your schedule!
Each session includes 10 practices, a tournament we will coach at, and a 575 Beach T-shirt or tank top! (the tournament registration fee is not included in the price)
