The Atlanta Challenge Series is comprised of 1 day and 2 day club volleyball tournaments that cater to teams of all skill levels.

December 7-8, 2024 - Winter Warm Up (15u-18u Power Division)

February 1, 2025 - Spike Quest #1 (13u Local & 15u Local)

February 22, 2025 - Spike Quest #2 (12u Local & 14u Local)

March 22-23, 2025 - Lucky Clover (12u to 17u Club/Local)

April 5-6, 2025 - Spring Brawl (12u to 17u Club/Local)

1 Day Event Cost: $200
2 Day Event Cost: $400

How much does each tournament cost? 
1 Day Event: $200/Team
2 Day Event: $400/Team

What is the format? Pool play followed by bracket play.


Who is the sanctioning governing body? USAV/JVA/AAU

What happens if we have to drop from the tournament? 100% refunds will be given within 30 days of the tournament, and 50% refunds within 15 days of the tournament.

What are the prizes? Medals for 1st and 2nd Place

How much is spectator entry? $10 per person, per day

This will be a Queen of the Beach format. No partner needed!

Details

• Date: 7/14/2023 (check-in at 4:30pm)
• First ball in the air at 5pm
• We reserve the right, based on interest, to either combine divisions or shift one or more divisions to Saturday evening.

Ruleset:

• Athletes will abide by USA volleyball beach ruleset and guidelines for outdoor competition, unless otherwise indicated.
• Uniforms are not required, but matching outfits are encouraged.
• All athletes are REQUIRED to wear a top which covers the entire midsection while standing. Bottoms such as spandex, shorts or leggings are permitted, but bikinis are not.
• For game play, open hand reception on a serve or any non-attacked ball is not allowed.
• Any open-hand finger action at the net will result in a point for the opponent.
• A block does not detract from a team's total, subsequent three contacts.
• Any questionable call will be determined by the assigned referees. Athletes should not approach boundary line to determine ball imprint.
• Any contact with the net is a violation.

Venue

• We are located in Fayetteville, GA (venue map)
• Beach courts are in the back of the church - plenty of parking available.
• Bleachers are available for spectators adjacent both courts.
• Lawn chairs, coolers and tents are permitted; however no stakes may be used in the ground.
• Bathrooms are available within a short walking distance.
• Please use trash receptacles, stationed on both sides of the courts. This is not our property - please help us keep it clean!
• A water hose is available for rinsing off afterwards.
• Please bring a towel, sunscreen, plenty of water, snacks, and a change of clothes.

FAQ

• What if my age division isn't listed?
• You can always play up a division. Sometimes we have to combine age divisions regardless.
• What if it rains?
• As is the case for most beach volleyball events, we will play through the rain. However, we will also follow county guidelines when a thunderstorm is present. In the event that the tournament must be cancelled completely, you will receive a full refund
